you are the greatest project you will ever work on
We hope that you find yourself on our website that the journey hasn't been too tough! While we have a vision of the extent of services The Independence Project will offer in the future, we are excited to share a little more about what we are doing now!

MacKenzie and Lindsay have worked in this industry and served the adult DD population for a combined 22 years. They have worked in near every area of the field, and are now ready to take things to the next level by going out on our own.

We believe with our time, shared experience and diligent work ethics we will be able to better serve the treasure valley's adult DD population!

We are so excited about developing a beautiful partnership and working with you or your loved one.

The Independence Project’s vision is that we will open up in phases.
Phase 1 of TIP was job coaching. A brief description of this service- assisting adults with disabilities on the job. This could look like helping them stay on task, complete tasks completely and to company standards, following a routine, transitioning between tasks, and accurate communication. This is a service we are currently offering and please reach out to us for more information here!
Phase 2 is now live with providing residential habilitation services! These are in home care based services that assist adults with disabilities by providing staffing to bridge the gap within living in the community and needing that little help for full independence.
Phase 3 will be a community based DDA. This service is focused on assisting adults with disabilities work on their daily living skills. Examples of these would be communication, money management, cooking, etc. as well as peer and community interaction.
